Hello, we’re The Hearing Spa.

Our service is second to none, and our prices are very competitive for both hearing aids and hearing aid supplies. We also offer in-house repairs for $30.00 and estimates for "all make" warranty repair with our major manufacturers. Working within the medical community, we offer full physician and insurance cooperation.
We are one of the very few private practice Audiology clinics that also offer services for Cochlear Implants for those whose hearing is too bad for traditional hearing aids. We also actively participate in the prevention of hearing loss through the fitting of hearing protective devices and noise awareness education. We also supply musician earplugs and swimmers’ ear plugs.
Our clinic fits and programs sophisticated hearing aids and related accessories, including Bluetooth connectivity, to suit all types of hearing losses and lifestyles. All of our diagnostic hearing evaluations are conducted by Doctors of Audiology who are very skilled in helping you choose the level of amplification that would best fit your hearing loss and your budget.

Doctor Of Audiology, Board Certified In Audiology, Voted Audiologist Of The Year 2013/2014
Dr. Victoria L. Moore, F-AAA, CCC-A, BC-HIS
Dr. Victoria Moore (Vicky) serves as President as well as Lead Audiologist at The Hearing Spa. She moved to the USA from England in 1991 and has been serving the communities of Sarasota and Bradenton for over 20 years. Her independent audiology practice focuses on adult hearing loss, tinnitus management, as well as Cochlear Implant services.

She is a board-certified Audiologist by the American Board of Audiology and also holds her Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. She completed her post baccalaureate work in communication sciences and disorders at the University of South Florida and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Missouri State University.Dr. Moore completed her residency with a large ENT group. In this role, she was exposed to a variety of medical conditions related to hearing and balance and was an integral part in the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.She has extensive clinical experience in diagnostic audiological evaluations and programming/ adjusting hearing devices.

As one of the owners of one of the few local independent audiological practices, Dr. Moore is skilled in fitting and adjusting Phonak, Oticon Signia, Resound, Widex and other leading brands of hearing instruments. She is also a certified Lyric provider. She works with all three FDA approved leading Cochlear Implant manufacturers (Advanced Bionics, Cochlear America, Med EL).Dr. Moore was voted Audiologist of the year 2013/2014 and is an active member of the Hearing Loss Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from The American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Moore regularly speaks at and attends professional and continuing education seminars and conferences.

She was interviewed and featured in the book Cochlear Implant Basics: What a Candidate For a Cochlear Implant Needs to Know discussing the importance of your Audiologist after cochlear implant surgery. Outside of the office, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Certified Audioprosthologist, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
Noel C. Moore, HAS, BC-HIS, A.C.A
Noel is Vice President of Hearing Aid Systems, Inc. and is a Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist. He completed his studies through the International Institute for Hearing Instrument Sciences becoming Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

Noel also obtained his Certified Audioprosthologist qualification through the American Conference of Audioprosthology. He has many years of experience with a wide selection of hearing instrument manufacturers.

Before moving to the USA from England in 1991 Noel worked for the British Government in research and development and was associated with the Institute of Aviation Medicine.

Danielle de la Fuente, CCC-A

Dr. de la Fuente is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Florida and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 2016. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2021. As part of her clinical training, Dr. de la Fuente completed her 4th year externship and was hired to work with South Florida ENT Associates in Miami, Florida. She gained her knowledge of vestibular testing at this practice as well as Lyric devices, diagnostic hearing evaluations, and fittings of all the leading hearing manufacturers. Most recently, Dr. de la Fuente worked at Marlowe MD ENT in Sarasota. In this role, she excelled in treating patients with the most complex hearing loss cases and specialized in real ear measurements, bone anchored hearing devices (BAHA), hearing aid decisions and dispenses, custom hearing protection, cochlear implant evaluations and cochlear implant programming.

What sets Dr. de la Fuente apart is her unwavering dedication to her patients. Throughout her career, Dr. de la Fuente has witnessed first hand the impact that improved hearing can have on a patient's quality of life. It is this understanding that drives her commitment to delivering personalized solutions that empower patients to reconnect with the world of sound.

Dr. de la Fuente regularly attends training seminars held by the leading manufacturers to learn of the newest technologies/ bluetooth compatible hearing aids and brings that knowledge to her patients at The Hearing Spa. We are so happy to have her on our team!

In her spare time, Dr. de la Fuente enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She also has a passion for outdoor activities such as diving and fishing.

Dr. Deirdre Hamaker, CCC-A
A State of Florida Licensed Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Hamaker brings with her more than 15 years of experience in the field of Audiology. Dr. Hamaker holds her doctoral Degree from the University of South Florida, and is proud to be part of The Hearing Spa Team! She completed her externship at VA Medical Center in Tampa where she served adult and geriatric populations with diagnostic hearing evaluations, tinnitus management, earmold impressions, hearing aid selection and hearing aid fittings using real-ear measurements, hearing aid modifications and program troubleshooting, aural rehabilitation, cerumen management, ABR testing, cochlear implant evaluations and cochlear implant programming.

Most recently, she worked at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance under Dr. Bartels, Dr. Danner and Dr. Allen for over 10 years. During this time, she was able to gain experience treating particularly complex cases of hearing loss with a variety of hearing loss treatments including hearing aids and cochlear implants. From this exposure to complex hearing loss cases, Dr. Hamaker is highly skilled at cochlear implant testing and programming of all three FDA approved cochlear implant manufacturers.  Dr. Hamaker became interested in the field of Audiology when one of her family members was born deaf and received a cochlear implant. She saw how important hearing is in the role of communication. Dr. Hamaker is thrilled to be able to help patients of her own, making a positive impact on her patients' hearing and lives.
