Four New Hearing Aids Are Now Available in Sarasota

Each of these hearing aid represents the newest flagship platform from its manufacturer, and each one leans hard into AI-driven sound processing built to handle real conversations in real noise. We've spent the past few weeks getting familiar with all four so we can match patients with the right one, not just the newest one.

Dr. Victoria Moore is a provider in Dr. Cliff Olson's HearingUp Network, which means she follows Dr. Cliff's AuD Best Practice Checklists. That same evidence-based approach guides how we choose technology for our patients. We don't just stock whatever ships first. We look at the technology, the fit, and how it performs for the specific hearing loss sitting in front of us.

ReSound Sensia

Sensia is GN's follow-up to last year's Vivia, and it's built around something called Intelligent All-Around. Its AcoustIQ system classifies your listening environment in real time and turns on the right combination of noise reduction and directional focus the moment you need it. GN reports that AcoustIQ classifies listening environments significantly more accurately than competing premium hearing aids. The four-microphone design means the hearing aid leans toward whoever you're facing, so following a conversation partner in a noisy room takes less effort on your part.

The complete Intelligent All-Around system is available in Sensia's top technology level. We'll walk you through which Sensia model makes sense for your hearing loss, your lifestyle, and your budget.

Sensia Bimodal for Cochlear Implant Users

GN also released a bimodal version of Sensia designed to work with Cochlear Nucleus sound processors. This matters if you have a cochlear implant in one ear and use a hearing aid in the other. Bimodal hearing works best when both devices are programmed to complement each other, so the sound from each ear blends together naturally.

We're one of the very few private practices in the area that provides cochlear implant mapping, so we can fine-tune your implant and your hearing aid under one roof. You won't have to coordinate between two different offices to get both ears working together.

Oticon Reveal

Reveal introduces what Oticon calls the world's first Dual AI system. One network is dedicated to speech, and another preserves the environmental sounds around you. Oticon's early data points to a stronger measured brain response than its previous platform and better predicted speech access than competing hearing aids. Those figures come from Oticon's own research, and we'll be watching for independent verification as more patients wear it. Oticon also reports faster, more precise feedback prevention, which matters most for open and vented fittings.

Signia MaX

MaX takes a different route to the same problem. Instead of one AI system, it runs four, and each handles a separate job: identifying speech, recognizing your own voice, reading the room, and managing background noise. All four coordinate with each other in real time. Signia built MaX specifically around difficult group conversations. Think of the dinner table with five people talking at once, the kind of situation that has frustrated hearing aid wearers for years. It's rechargeable, comes in eight colors, and ships with a portable charger.

Phonak EON

EON is the third generation of Phonak's Sphere technology, and the headline change is size. It's 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere platform while still delivering the speech-in-noise performance that made Sphere popular in the first place. Phonak also added WindBlock 2.0 for outdoor wearers who've struggled with wind noise drowning out conversation, plus native Auracast support out of the box.

Schedule a Fitting Consultation in Sarasota or Bradenton

Four flagship releases landing in the same month sounds exciting on paper. The truth is that none of these hearing aids perform the way they're supposed to without a proper fitting behind them. That's where we come in. Dr. Victoria Moore, Dr. Audrey Gaskill, and Noel Moore have decades of combined experience matching patients to the right technology, not just the newest technology. Dr. Moore is a HearingUp Network provider, and we use Real Ear Measurement to verify that your hearing aids are delivering what your hearing loss actually needs.

If you're curious which of these four might actually fit your hearing loss and your lifestyle, come find out. We serve patients throughout Sarasota and Bradenton, and consultations are easy to schedule. Call us at (941) 366-4848 or reach out through our website to set up a time to hear the difference for yourself.
